Standards in our school
On this page you will find information about how standards in many areas of school life are determined; a summary of current standards in school based on data from the previous academic years; statutory reports on how we use certain funding and links to documents produced by external bodies.
COVID Catch Up Funding
As a result of the national lockdowns over the last 12 months, every school in the country has been given a 'COVID Catch-Up' fund. Schools are required to publish information on how they plan to spend this money and the impact this has had. Please find a copy of our latest report below (Updated February 2021)
Outcomes for Pupils
Schools have a duty to share key outcomes for the pupils they teach. Below is a range of simplified outcomes with headline data. Please feel free to take a look and get in touch with any questions you may have.
You can access the government's School and Collage Performance Measures Website by clicking here.
It is particulary pleasing to note that the three year trend for our EYFS and KS1 headline data shows that we are now exceeding the Kirklees and National averages in all areas.
Pupil Premium
PE/Sports Premium
- develop or add to the PE and sport activities that your school already offers
- build capacity and capability within the school to ensure that improvements made now will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
Other Info
The school also receives funding for children who have been looked after by the local authority continuously for more than six months, and children of service personnel.
DfE Performance tables - our school shows as 'no data' as we do not have a Year 6 cohort due to being a First School.
Please feel free to ask for paper copies of any information that you find on this
website from the school office.
Ofsted also welcomes parents to comment on how well their child's school is doing through their Parent View website (linked below).
Monitoring and Evaluation
Monitoring and evaluation of standards are ongoing activities of the governing body and leadership team and are underpinned by end of year annual statutory assessments for English and mathematics. The quality of teaching and learning is determined through regular observation of teaching, inspection of children's work, and discussions with children.
In order to ensure evaluations are accurate the school is supported by the Local Authority through an annual review of standards using the school's own self evaluation and with reference to published national data.
OfSTED and SIAMS
Approximately, every three to five years the school is inspected by Ofsted - the national body for inspecting schools.
As we are a church school, we are also inspected by SIAMS - the diocesean board to inspecting church schools.
